This is the miniPIC programmer for 16F84s and 12C508s.

miniPIC supports the JDM protocol plus to a 9pin serial port.

You will have to get the following parts to make one set:

Module assembled.

Soldering wires from miniPIC PCB to 18 pin DIL socket. 18 holes 1.5mm diameter each are drilled using a 5mm brass jig piece. This will produce evenly spaced holes. The 18pin turn pin DIL IC socket is then inserted snugly. Chloroform is brushed on to weld the socket into the housing. A snap-on 9pin D-Type housing is preferred as it allows the IC socket to sit in properly.
